Nicolas Storey

Date of funeral: 5 February 2021

If you are reading this because you are looking for a funeral streaming service in the UK, look no further. Most of my late mum’s family and friends live in Guyana, the Caribbean and North America and I didn’t know how and where to start arranging for her funeral service to be streamed especially as her death was unexpected. I booked funeralstreaming.co.uk because of the good testimonials and I wasn’t disappointed. It’s a great website, the pricing structure is clear and transparent and booking the streaming service was managed sympathetically and very efficiently. The link to the ‘Viewing Room’ was live more than a week before the actual funeral, giving me plenty of time to send the link to everyone. In the ‘Viewing Room’ there is a facility to create a link to the Order of Service which can then be downloaded by those viewing. There is also a function to to allows those viewing to leave tributes.  The quality of the streaming itself was faultless. I cannot thank the team enough. An important reminder though – make sure that you seek permission from the Church and/or Crematorium beforehand. I obtained permission from the Church but I forgot about contacting the Crematorium. The Crematorium were none too pleased when the videographer arrived but they agreed to allow him access.
