I just wanted to say the biggest thank you for the beautiful video of Mom’s Celebration of Life.
Honestly, I didn’t know what to expect but the finished video went above and beyond anything we could have imagined. It is absolutely incredible! The quality of the production is outstanding. It has given our family memories that we will treasure forever.
Please could you pass on our heartfelt thanks to Dan. He was amazing from start to finish. He was so kind, caring and professional throughout the day. He blended into the background so naturally that we hardly noticed he was there, yet somehow he captured every important moment. He was never intrusive and made everyone feel completely at ease.
Watching the video back has been incredibly emotional, but also brought such comfort. Dan captured so many precious moments that we hadn’t even realised were happening at the time.
One of the most special parts for us is right at the beginning, where my Nan says, “Up the Tipperary” when the Horses came draped in the Irish flags. My Nan is 90 years old. Hearing those words, along with seeing the conversations between my Nan and me then the moments of my Nan spending time with Mom, are memories that our family will cherish forever. Those are moments we can never recreate. Thanks to Dan, we will always have them.
The ending of the video is absolutely beautiful! The choice to finish with Rise Up couldn’t have been more perfect. That song holds such a special meaning for our family, and it brought everything together so beautifully. Everyone who has watched the video has been moved to tears.
What we love most is that the video doesn’t simply document the day—it tells Mom’s story. It captures the atmosphere, the love, the laughter, the emotion and the joy that surrounded her celebration. It represents exactly who Mom was. Honestly couldn’t have asked for anything more.
As difficult as that day was, Dan has given us something that we will watch, treasure and share with future generations of our family. It is a gift that is truly priceless.

If you would like to use Mom’s video for any advertising we give our consent to do so. The Co-Op doesnt have a videographer currently. We have recommended your service but it might be worth contacting the Co-op to let them know that it is a service you provide in the West Midlands. It could benefit so many future families.
