Newton was a fun loving brother in law to Sarita and me. He and Sarita called each other “Mapshekar ” as they were from the same city. We would always joke with each other. Even in his suffering he was jolly and joked with us on the phone. Never heard him complain. Smile down on us from heaven.

Not too good, not too bad was his favorite response to ‘How have you been, Newton uncle?!’ Never a grim or sad response.. Always a smile, oh and that laugh! I’ll never forget his laugh.  I was one of his favourites, thanks to the time i was in London as a baby. He took care of me and helped mama in so many ways in the new city. He was, what they would say, the fun uncle! 25yrs later for his wedding anniversary, I got to spend time again with him in London.  Linoshka and I will never forget sitting with… Read more »

Newton my brother in law, my youngest sister’s husband was a cool, soft-spoken & a very loving person. We all loved him a lot for his warmth & kind heart. He had always been an incredible support to my sister. During his illness, he battled for his life without a complaint. It was heartbreaking to see him bear it all in silence. He is finally on his way to his heavenly abode & has left behind a deep, dark crevice in all our lives. We will always miss you dear loving Newton.

Farewell Newton uncle, one of the coolest uncles.
You have always been the perfect gentleman with a smile on your face.
We cherish the memories of the time spent together..Your trips to Goa were fun. Always in a jovial mood and cracking jokes. Xavier keeps talking about the time you’ll spent in Bombay(P.S. trips to the tavern)

Newton uncle was one of the funniest and most loving persons that I knew. On one of my vacations to Goa as a little girl, I remember him wearing these Dracula teeth and running behind me to scare me. This is one of the many memories that I have of him.

Hi Lorraine I very much hope you and family are reasonably well at this difficult time. My fond memories of Tony were whilst we were part of a small group who were all working for the London Hilton Hotel. Tony was extremely hard working and dedicated to the work he did. Very very good company to be with as he was very funny and always reliable when called upon. Tony was very popular, always smiling and had a good sense of humour. He liked his drink and used to invite the group to share a crate of beer in the… Read more »

Dearest Newton our BEST MAN. We will miss you very much. You always made our wedding anniversaries special by coming over even if it was on a week day. Those we love and lose are always connected by heartstrings into infinity so whilst you never quite get over it, you just learn to slowly live without them always keeping them tucked safely in your heart

What an incredibly brave soul he was to go through what he did and still remain in good spirits. May this wonderful husband and father rest in Heavenly peace… we hope these poetic words bring his loved ones some comfort.

if only for a little while
time has come for us to part,
you left a space in our hearts.
