A wonderful chap who was so good and kind to others, especially if they were on their own and not in the best of health. A stalwart friend and a truly good man.
From the Gaskill/Hardin/Hunt families – from the time my dad Ransom Gaskill met Geoff and family in the 1970s, we have been blessed to know him and his beautiful wife Lynn as well. I visited as a 15 year old and spent a month with the family along with Lynn Bowen – Geoff and Lynn opened their home to 2 additional teenagers from California for a month(!) and included us in everything Galliver – touring London, picnics, vacationing in Coverack, camping, playing games, church services, life! Meeting at Solartron Farnborough in the early 1960’s, one soon realised here was a stalwart son of the Principality, forthright but kind and gentle of the speech of his native green valleys, seemingly endlessly equipped with amusing anecdotes which he invariably generously shared to much surrounding laughter.
My heartfelt condolences to his family and friends at the passing of one of life’s gems.
